Urban Resource - Community

Originally, the mouth of the Miami River served as a trading post between settlers and the local Tequesta Indians. Today, the Miami River continues to be a symbol of Miami’s history with a long-awaited restoration that includes the construction of walkways, restaurants and high-rise condominiums. The planned Riverwalk project will allow residents & visitors alike to enjoy a pedestrian boardwalk lined with an array of venues, making this area a perfect place to call home.
